Toulon meet Stade Francais in the weekend’s final Top 14 match this evening. The Sunday night game doesn’t usually get much of a mention here, but there’s more to this particular game – broadcast in the UK on Premier Sports – than league points, or table position, important though they are for two sides in the lower reaches of the table after two weekends of the season when they expected to be much better off.
