I happened to retweet the Toulouse squad list for the Top 14 side’s first preseason outing at Beziers with the comment: Squad includes a certain J Brennan
The deputy editor of the Irish Examiner saw it, liked it, retweeted it – and got in touch to ask for a 250-worder. This was the result. Not a massive payday for this one … but thoroughly enjoyable to do, and – in the words of the supermarket tagline – every little helps.
