Irish Examiner: Friend and foe unite to acclaim France’s ‘martian’ Antoine Dupont

Another quick one out of the stalls, this, for the Irish Examiner, on a busy week in the lead-up to the Ireland-France game in Dublin.

Basically, they had a 600-word hole to fill… This was a bit of midweek international rugby fluff, but it did its job.

It is one thing for the rugby press and fans to proclaim a certain player ‘the world’s best’ — it is something else altogether when another player who is widely regarded as number one does it.
