Ireland finished the 2018 Six Nations with the Grand Slam and had their 14th title in the bag with a game to spare. But as it turned out, that unbeaten run, in which Joe Schmidt’s side picked up three try-scoring bonus points as they ran in 20 tries in five matches, counted for little in the ESPN Fantasy Rugby stakes.
